WIFT MEMBERS-ONLY MIXER AND DIRECTORY HAND-OFF
No April-fooling, we have a beautiful new membership directory ready for pick up!

Thanks to the exhaustive efforts of V.P. Jolene McMaster and Board Member Tina Blum Cohen (who respectively edited/designed and chaired the project) we have a spectacular new membership directory, published in a three-ring binder perfect for keeping all your WIFT documents. Not only does the directory include details and contact information on our members, it also has subcategories that group members by professions, such as talent, directing, producing, news journalists, casting, make-up, set design, voice talent, costuming, law, camera operator, scoring, photographers, - - - 52 subcategories in all!
Stop by on April Fools' Day for free and ultra delicious appetizers, and mix and mingle with other members.
Jimmy Wilson's Seafood and Chophouse is located in the Galleria area, between Sage and Post Oak, in the Randall's shopping center. Plan to stay afterward and have dinner there if you like. Their food is "love at first bite!" (Jimmy Wilson's also has a second location in west Houston on Westheimer, but our event is at the San Felipe location - address below).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Only members in good standing will be issued a directory. If dues are owed, they will have to be cleared at the event or before the event. For questions about your membership status, contact Jolene at (713) 780-3671 or jolene_mcmaster@sbcglobal.net.

HOLLYWOOD FILM AGENT SPEAKS
WIFT presents Hollywood literary agent Rima Greer who has negotiated thousands of deals and represented screenwriters for over 20 years. Also an author, her newest book is “The Real, Low Down, Dirty Truth about Hollywood Agenting.” Rima was president of Literary at Writers & Artists Agency from 1989 to 1994, when she started her own company, Above The Line Agency in September 1994. At her own company she’s been involved in studio projects like Charlie’s Angels (Columbia) and Constantine (Warner Bros.) and the upcoming Nowhereland (Paramount), as well as shepherding such independent projects as The Prophecy (Dimension/First Look), Slow Burn (Artisan) and The Poker House (Cannell Studios). This will be an exceptional opportunity to learn from a film agent who can give us a peek behind the Wizard’s curtain into the world of agents, writers, directors, producers and studios. Watch for location and details. WIFT will have her books available for sale and autographing.
